Christmas present from a friend: Airfix 1/72nd DH Tiger Moth. Boxing with one 1960s silver/yellow RNAS scheme and one green LASU New Guinea scheme.

Looks like a nice kit, although I'm apprehensive about the rigging. No real idea what to do with it, although I'm toying with Thunderbird 6 since JBOT do decals for it.

This arrived today, much faster than expected as I only paid for it Friday:

No idea what I'll do to/with it yet but I have always liked the look of this aircraft so put a low bid on this when I seen it and was surprised to find out that I had won it.

Nice kit.

Repopped by ARII and then by Micro Ace.  The amount of flash increasing each time.

Hmmm. Single seat, one of the ideas I may pursue. If for no other reason than to avoid some of the canopy framework. A large percentage of the aircraft I like most have lot's of framework, I really like the look but I don't like the amount of work it takes to model them...  :banghead:

This kit is still sealed in it's bag but appears from what I seen having a very quick inspection to have little or no flash at all.

Zen matey it's gonna be ..it's in pretty sad shape and it was already built..not very well as it was built and then painted and to be honest the fuselage is painted quite well..the cockpit..ummm no.
So I just spend the last 30mins pulling it to bits and I mean bits ..since it's missing one of it rotor blades and I can't be bothered making one I have other ideas
So it's ripped to bits ready for the oven cleaner to attack it.
One thing I forgot to mention was the 24 jars of Tamiya paint he threw in to..21 are brand new
