Glad you like it, thanks.

I still have the model and it appears at UK SIG shows now and then, when there's enough room for it anyway.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Hannants has just announced on its Future Releases page a Revell 1/32 Meteor F.3. Before you all start salivating, the r r p shown is a whopping £145.99 but, they have very generously offered a "discount" price of £131.99!! At that price, they can whistle for it! Of course, the price may be pure speculation and, there are no details about the kit itself as yet.  I've heard that another retailer has offered an even bigger "discount" price of £125 for pre orders!
As for the rest of the 2023 range, I'm delighted to see the excellent F-89 Scorpion is being reissued. Still waiting for the FW-200 and, Junkers JU-290 though! ;D

It's the Revell (actually a Monogram project) 1/48th scale F-89D/J kit.
The kit was also released as an F-89C with the gun-nose.

Revell released F-89 kits in both scales, the 1/72nd kit was only released in the single version, F-89D/J.
The 1/48th F-89C is the only gun-nose F-89 kit in 1/48. Hobbycraft released A/B and C versions in 1/72.

I have a Hobbycraft F-89A/B built and an H and J (separate kits) in the stash. I thought I had the C too, but my list isn't showing it

Just been scanning through the Revell 2023 Future Releases again on Hannants website.. I just noticed a 1/72 Eurofighter (Pacific Exclusive Edition) at, £99.99. Yes, you read it right. That's nearly a ton for a 1/72 Typhoon. I SERIOUSLY hope that's a mistake!! I wouldn't pay that even for the 1/32 kit which I've been trying to get for ages at a semi sensible price!

That's almost three times the price of their 1/48th scale kit.

Yeah but Hannants originally posted the recently announced 1/32 Meteor as 1/144 but at the 1/32 price!

Hannants make the odd mistake from time to time, the usual ones are putting items in the wrong category.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I agree, they do but, the same 1/72 kit is now being advertised by Jadlam at a pre order price of £87.95!! I don't think they'll  be getting many pre orders at that price.. Maybe its false info and, it's really the the 1/32 kit?   ;)  ;D .Mind you, much as I'd like to see the 1/32 kit reissued, nice as it is, I still wouldn't pay these prices for it.Doubtless all will be revealed in the fullness of time!  I found this link elsewhere. Contains a couple of interesting comments re pricing.

1/144 007 Moonraker shuttle.

You cannot view this attachment.

I think this is the first time the Revell shuttle has been re-released in Moonraker decals since the movie tie in in 1979.

I think this is just the orbiter, the original release included the boosters IIRC.
