the car is back in the west mids, and apparently will be fixed ( yay, yay, and double yay    )  had a brief chat with some one at the garage, theyre going to make it safe, change the locks, then itll be taken to a Skoda dealer to get the rest of the interior fixed,  when i asked for a time line, the guy said he was sorry but couldn't give an idea, ( which im fine with, id rather be told the truth, than given a random number and then find out when it expired it was a pipe dream).

i feel a good couple of stone lighter 
So ive celebrated by ordering some decals and a kit, Another set of both the NASA and JASDF  1:48 TSR-2 ones, a set of RAF Germany decals, and because it was there and i know if i dont get it itll never be seen again an Aoshima Airwolf.   happy dance time.

Im still getting paint on the Tau tanks, but the end is in sight, then itll just be a quick varnish and done.   Progress   definitely progress

still painting in fits and starts, but ive got the sent of Italian herbs around at the moment, as they are a big part of my " top secret" flock mix  ... the reason its such is that i used a big tub of them as the base and have added any old flock that i can get my hands on, and some old green tea bits, etc  so have no idea how to replace from scratch            so the 2 flying bases are done.

not sure what ill be doing after i finish these 2 but its not like im lacking options.

ill be undercoating some more pipe stacks and sprue piles,  an infantry base ( some sand bags and rammage to act as a rally / target point)  along with an eight man 80 BAOR squad.  and ive decided that the next kit will be the part built Hasagawa 1:48 Falcon 10 i got a few years ago second hand, it will be getting a second pair of engines and a ESM pod under one wing so it will look rather different.  i feel mucj better for it all as well.

  

and having finally and successfully to stagger into the first full week of Feb,  im done for a week, off on me hols 
gonna wanna get some stuff done,  and hopefully have some time to go for a walk or two, and who knows what else.. yay!
