Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Every time I see this it reminds me of something else. Now it's a P-80
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That looks great

And it has given me a idea. I have a F-86D and a OA-4M that both would look good with Stang wings I think...

The more I think about it the more I like both, the mental images I have make the OA-4M look a bit like a taildragger L-39, and the F-86D a bit like a Supermarine Attacker with a nose intake. I really hope I can get to some building this year, my list of want to builds is getting very long...

Not sure about a Scootstang but I like the thought of a Sabre Dogstang.  The wing guns would come in usefull,
Today I sanded it, applied more putty and glued the nose on today.  Boy there's a lot of putty in those wing roots.

I also masked and sprayed this RAN FAA Sluf.

Wings are glued to the YF-16.  There is a huge difference in thickness at the root.  Lots of putty will be required to blend profiles.

*Not strictly true, there are a couple in the stash but they will not be getting F-16 wings.

GREAT DESIGN , Super !

Quote from: Old Wombat on September 21, 2022, 04:42:13 AMMy line about radials all leaking like sieves is based on experience.

In the RAN I worked on Grumman Trackers with Wright R-1820 Cyclones &, during my posting to the FAA Museum (in its extremely primitive stages) on the Sea Fury's Bristol Centaurus & the DC-3/C-47's Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasps (along with the Firefly's Rolls-Royce Griffon, the T.34 Vampire's Goblin & the Sea Venom's Ghost, among others). All of those engines, sleeve or poppet, leaked oil like incontinent ..... puppies.

Also, during oil filter changes, oil would run (not drip) into the most inaccessible areas & on the first engine run that oil would streak out along the fuselage/nacelle & ruin all the hard work that had gone into cleaning the bloody thing!

Are you absolutely certain it wasn't my Land Rovers you were working on? I see uncanny similarities.. 🤪

Another one addicted to the world's best looking 4x4  ?

Would be one of these.

Let's agree to disagree..  ;)

As for Land Rovers, they should be classed as narcotics. A ludicrously expensive habit, all but impossible to get rid of, but the pleasure when they work..
