HELL !    Just recognised that the picture of the VW right above is taken in  the Stephanus street Hannover, my hometown .   I lived exactly in the street , 50 meters right from the picture, from 1994-1997 . Picture must be taken round 1999 ,  therefore was a brewery in the background , in the picture they started just to build new houses there. Also the LINDENER VOLKSBANK was taken down last year .
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

That's looking soooooooooooooo nice mate
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks folks.
Gloss clear over the transfers today.

Then another one in the Grey/Blue with Kiwi roundels after the sale... Just a thought...  ;D

Thanks folks.  I have a Hasegawa Sluf in the stash but it is earmarked for a variable incidence wing.  It's going to seem very crude after this gorgeous Hobby Boss kit.
I had a moment of panic here when I thought the stabs were going to overlap the fuselage roundels but it turns out I just left enough clearance.

Quote from: zenrat on January 01, 2023, 04:19:22 AMNot sure about a Scootstang but I like the thought of a Sabre Dogstang.  The wing guns would come in usefull

Well I pulled the kit's out today and it turns out that it's one of those things that looks the part in the mind but In reality not so much...

Wings and tail group look WAY too small on the Sabre Dog fuselage. :-\

Same issue of parts just not being comparable sizes, a idea I had of using a Ho/Go-229 wing on a Me262 fuselage looks nowhere near as good as my mind seen it. :banghead:

Oh well, more ideas will come along.

Shame when that happens.  The minds eye sometimes sees shapes but not proportions.

Farting Falcstang is close to being ready for some primer.  But a visitor today meant it didn't get sanded.
'57 Chevy is very close to being finished.  Which is good as I want to take it to Model Car Club on Monday night.
<Kit stop reading now>
I picked up a model box thisarvo and was sorting the parts in it when a large Huntsman (spider) jumped out.  Which was nice.  It's good to get the old ticker going properly... :o

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

So i've been slowly working on a 1/25 AMT '65 Buick.  I've now got it painted and transfers on it.  I never use the transfers they provide with car kits (and so have a massive folder full of them) but decided I would do so for a change.  As they don't provide a diagram to show where they go it took a bit of working out.  I've got two left which don't appear to fit anywhere.

And i've finished the psychedelic '57 Chevy Street Freak.  Decent pics soon.

The Chevy looks like a fun ride but the Buick...
As said by our esteemed colleagues, excellent paint work, no doubt!
