It's on my "to finish" list before I start a new build. I sprayed it with some hardware store paint and now I'm deeply concerned about what will happen when I add a new color. I've got to proceed at some point. Can't decide if I should try enamels or acrylics.

Acrylics all the way if your air brushing it mate..only way to go for that ...enamels if your using brushes...covers better than acrylics ive found .

I'll have to try it on the underside or some place not so noticeable first. Me and paint are not getting along these days.

I'd say acrylics are your safest bet but if you can find out what type of paint is in the can, maybe you can make a better choice.
I say something like water based acrylics would be the safest but i'm not sure.
Anyway, glad to know it's in the near future list.

I had to go where the muse took me so I'm into a small side project right now. Shouldn't take too long to finish. I broke my own rule by starting something new but I couldn't get it off my mind any other way. See the Ian McQue thread.

Bought a new bottle of Dark Ghost Grey acrylic to go with the other paints I have. So at least that means I'll go with all acrylic to finish this. $7.50 for this one little bottle! What are they making this stuff out of, unicorn pee?
I have the decals chosen so ready to go there. I also entered it in my clubs Shelf Queen GB so I might get myself more motivated over this and do something with it.
Basic pattern will be a variation on the US Marine Harriers.

Love that scheme on the Harriers so i'm sure your A-10 will look gorgeous!
