Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Saying that, change the radials for early in-line engines and you might fool a few painted in green with red stars  :thumbsup:

To my eye it looks like a co-production of Handley-Page and Short Brothers with Handley-Page doing the
fuselage design and Gough over at Shorts taking care of the wing.
;)

Or perhaps a four-engined Hendon.

I was thinking mid-1930's Junkers.  EDIT: correction - I was thinking of the Ju89 but it looks more Do19.
