Not at all fazed by what new kit's they release, it's not like I will be buying any of them. Same with the classics, a O-2 or Skyvan doe's sound good, but I already got my wish for a repop of the Boomerang and I have still not got any of those. :-\

Only three things I want:
72nd Hunter T7 with optional jetpipe for export versions
72nd single seat DH Venom
72nd Scimitar

But I'd settle for a Spitfire XIVe Highback or an Anson C19, both in 72nd.

I'd definitely be buying a 1/72 Scimitar but would prefer 1/48. Really would love a new tool 1/48 Jag (the winged version) too.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Cessna O-2 front prop can be combined with a Cessna 172 in the same scale to do a T-41D Mescalero.  Add a suitable spinner and you can do a R172 "Hawk XP".  Once upon a time I was involved in civilianizing the T-41D into the R172.

And a nice, new inflated price... cynical and negative, me? Darn right.

Does the 1/72 Lightning F.6 count for this?

I do agree with a lot of what people have said but we have to remember that Airfix is a commercial company and if they don't think it will make money it won't get done.

The Feb addition of Airfix Magazine has been delayed by the 2023 Models Launch, so presumably they've got a piece on it. Wonder if I should go online to a Spanish newsagent just on the off chance
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

And there I went and bought all the bits to convert My Hunter F.6 into an FGA.9  :banghead:

Airfix do an F-35 already, a Snap Together kit. Interestingly when you look at the Starter Set for the F-35 it says new tool but it's not in the NEW for 2023 list  :-\

A couple of the vintage kits will probably find there way to my stash...thinking specifically about grabbing a few Rotodynes and Bloodhounds when they come out.  The Auster Antarctic looks fun too.  After a closer look at the range I think it's an overall good mix of kits.  The new Hunter boxing is no surprise.  The F.4 had the parts in the box for the GA.11, so it was bound to happen at some point, and the FGA.9 seems obvious.  Still disappointed in no Scimitars and Jaguars, but the Gannett seems to continue their trend towards a comprehensive range of Cold War era RN aircraft so perhaps it's just a matter of time.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

At last the Rotodyne is back and reasonably priced,  the quick build  LEVC taxi and Boris bus lots of whiffery a foot. I'm hoping that they will turn them both into proper kits just like the F-35.

Quite nice overall: I fancy the Rotodyne, the Bloodhound and the Auster

The 1/35th Ferret gives me hope that they might do it in 1/72nd one day, now that they've got the CAD data.

Bit too much 1/48th and not enough 1/72nd for my taste, but I understand the economics of the situation.

I like the fact that they're going for more 'oddball' paint jobs, like captured aircraft, racers and the zapped Buccaneer (if they ever do an F-105 we'll have to see if they do one of the ones with scandalous refuelling receptacle art...).
