We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Well, my niece's son has built a 1/48th Skyhawk and has asked me to paint it. His dad just sent me photos of possible paint jobs and a pic of this build was one of his choices! I hope you don't mind if I use it. No idea where he found the photo but it's pretty cool paint job. Wait until I tell him I know the guy who built it!

2 questions  ...where the hell have I been and why haven't I seen this before ??.
This a bloody brilliant build Thomas ..your paint work is not only affective but extremely well done.
Mate this is one of the best small scale A-4s I've seen..awesome stuff
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I feel honored, please proceed. Apparently, some linked pictures have gone to Nirwana after editing them at FlickR, sorry for that.
After all, the paint scheme is (while unique to Tunisian F-5s) not copyrighted, AFAIK, it's just quiet exotic.  ;D

Here's the promised pics.

Not too bad for an old Skyraider decal sheet. I had to add the blue band with the white stars to make it eye catching for the young man. I manged to wrinkle it with my big fat fingers. He's really happy with it, I just hope his younger brothers don't get to it! Thanks for the inspiration Dizzy!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

If I was a young dude and that was something I helped build..I would be chuffed to bits with that ..that's a sweet looking A4 for sure  ;D

I'm just wondering how long before he asks me to paint another one!
He also treats my model stash as a discount store. The little bugger walked out with an F-100 and an EF-111 that I was never going to build. I've given him a T-33 and the A-4 already.
