There was the CL1000 Starfighter up grade proposal by Lockheed. That would look great in Norm something.

Not normally a fan of fast mover's, most of the jets I like are subsonic, but the 104 has always been an exception to that, at least it has straight wing's and (normally) tip tanks.

     Thanks Dizzy I see there is an outfit based in Florida called Starfighters Aerospace who operate a fleet of 9 F-104's https://www.starfighters.net/

Almost there, but close enough to allow a picture. A minor patch where I missed out on the varnish, but I'll deal with that later.

So, this is my F-104S+ of the Royal Danish Air Force, mid to late eighties. A rather grey aircraft but the Danish roundels and some warning labels live things up a bit.
The same Esci/Italeri kit as before, but as said, it is indeed a very good Starfighter kit.
