The Wooksta!

The Hasegawa Shar is a nice kit to just build.

I've only built the AZ/KPM in the Soviet UTI version but it builds up quite nicely.

SWMBO just scored me a Airfix 1:72 Westland Sea King HAR.3 starter set for $5 from a op-shop.

The box is opened and so is the sprue bag but it looks like most, if not all the sprues are there. Need to check scalemates to see how many sprues are included I guess. I've had a very quick look and it looks like there is a few pieces missing from the sprues but I think that they are the seat's and a few other cockpit bits so that doesn't bother me much, I build models focused on what's on the outside not the inside. Shame that the instructions don't have sprue pic's to make identification of what's missing easier. :banghead:

I'll go through the instructions looking for the part numbers later today or tonight.

Just received a second Airfix Beaufort from BNA.  First one will be getting a High Planes Models DAP Beaufreighter conversion and as I also want to build an RAAF torpedo version (with an HPM DAP Mk VIII conversion which has just been ordered) I obviously needed another.
Also in the parcel was a Vallejo WWII Soviet aircraft paint set.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Looked at scalemates, there is no sprue count for the Sea King, I'll have to go through the instructions step by step to find out what is actually missing... :banghead:

There's some sprue shots in this review: https://www.hyperscale.com/2018/reviews/kits/airfixa04063reviewjm_1.htm

Hope it helps.

Somewhere here must be a vintage seaking kit from Airfix, the Apollo recovery box , but could be difficult to find it ...

I just bought a pack of kits in 1:72 from my military vehicles group, a nice dude sold me 11 different planes, in new condition for 1€ each . That is like Christmas for a conversion Workshop !   Even if I need to run that stuff on low budget at all .

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

No need to go searching for the kit, I'll work it out

Sounds like you got a great bargain with those kits

Didn't take as long as I thought, only 3 pieces missing (as far as I can tell) and they are a single seat from the very rear of the cabin, can definitely live without that. And the other two pieces are the two halves of the mount for an optional (but sold separately) electric motor to power the main rotor, something that I wouldn't be using anyway so that's cool.

Sounds like a winner to me!

This year's first proper StashTM acquisition - a MiG. Not sure what to do with it yet, but it was accidentally won on Evilbay due to the rest of the world being unnaturally cheap. What can you do?
