I built the F-16 cockpit back in the 80s and have one in the stash.  I'll likely add the -104 with the re-release.  Always wished they had continued this range.  I'd love to have a shelf full of various 1/12 cockpits.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Quote from: Mossie on November 15, 2022, 09:54:26 AMI've been wondering about that, its the kind of thing that could be 3D printed these days, if limiting it to the area around the cockpit (pretty much like the ghosted parts in the box art).
That's a very attractive idea. I wonder if this reissue will spur on designers to do just that? There are 1:1 cockpit collectors, one could take inspiration from them - having a model nose section on a trailer would be a neat thing!

I've seen a couple of builds where a 1/12th F-104 has been built around the cockpit kit. I'll see if I can locate one.
;D

I've just been given one of the F-104G cockpit kits, a Christmas present delayed in the post.  Looks great, a gazillion knobs and switches to add.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I've got two of those F-16 cockpits, plus two Collectaire seated pilots for the seats. Need to find a new home for them, so anyone interested, PM me.

i do fancy that new tool 1/72 F-35C and the F-35A in beast mode

announced in new tool:

1/32 MC.202 Folgore
1/72 F-35C Lightning II
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Also:
1/72 AMX.  A few have been waiting for this.  It states single seat, so maybe they're considering a two seater?
1/32 NATO pilots (F-104, Tornado, Mirage, F-35)
1/12 Lancia Stratos.

I'm pretty stoked about the Stratos. I'm unlikely to buy it myself but I'd love to see one built up, should be a beauty.

F-16 cockpit is making a reappearance, I might buy that one.

Let's see id that AMX actually will hit any shelves. Last call was alread last August, methinks..
that said - I want at least one. Maybe a few more.

The 1/72 F-35s definitely interest me, especially since there are few kits of the F-35C.  I definitely want the AMX kit and hope it's laid out in such a way that an AMX-T will follow.  I don't know if that TAV-8B is new tooling or reuse of the Airfix/Heller tooling.  That's prtty much it for my interests.

Minimum of two for me, to be real world operators, then a few more for the Naval version as both operators have carriers and I am sure a few other operators could be managed as well.

OrangeHobby are the only other company that I know of that does an F-35C so a more Europe avalible company produceing a kit would be nice, obviously a Royal Navy example has to be built and probably a Gull Grey/White USN one as well.

Must admit I'm interested in the F-35C

Good to see the Bugatti Royale back.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Another one here for the 1/72 F-35C and even the -A in beast mode. The 1/16 Viper pit is also very interesting as is the AMX.

Very interested in the AMX. Really hoping the F-35s don't have ridiculously overdone RAM panels.  In 1/82 they should be barely noticeable.  Liking the 1/48 helo rereleases a lot.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Yes. I saw the new  release list only this morning. Italeri has always been one of my favourite brands largely due to the somewhat esoteric range of subjects, many of which, to my knowledge, have never been duplicated - at least in I M styrene form.
I have no interest whatsoever in the MC.202 , AMX  or F-35 but, I'm particularly pleased to see (among others items) the AC-119 and, DO-217K reappear along with the Caproni CA.313 and, SM.79. Disappointed that yet again, no sign of the Me-323 Gigant, X/Y B-35 and, YB-49 but, I guess all good things come to those that wait. Mostly reissues I know but, quite frankly, there's more for me here than in the seriously overhyped Airfix 2023 programme.
