That's just me not using flash for that pic. With flash the whole thing looked burned out, so I backed off the lighting a bit.

I use Halfords Appliance White for all my airliner builds, and believe me, it's WHITE!
So it's white I take it
It will be the light and my cocked up eye colour thingy play silly buggers.
Can't wait to see this bird with colours I can see  ;D  ;D

It's got a blue fin now, and might have decals on the fin by tonight.  ;D

I started on applying the decals, and before long it became clear something wasn't quite right. :(

The doors ended up in the wrong place compared to the plastic and after a bit of a check measure it turned out I'd screwed up the scaling of the decal sheet.  :banghead:

So it's back to the drawing board and I'll have to reprint them I guess.

After a mammoth re-scale and re-design session lasting most of the day, the updated Flying Tigers scheme is done, and the decals have now been re-printed. Just waiting for the to dry before varnishing and the 2nd decal session should start tomorrow.

With the old GB end time it would have been too late but thanks to the time extension it will be all right... ;)

Here she is with one side decaled, but LOTS of detail decals to go on yet, and the other side of course.

Now here's a good question, why do I ALWAYS decal the port side first?  :-\

My new AZ spray varnish  isn't as good as my normal stuff at sealing in the decal ink sadly, and I needed a bit of paint touch-up on some of the bits, specially the curved arrow on the nose, but it's not too bad.
