Even tho I'm not really a rocket person I am enjoying this build .

I stopped off at the church today and picked up a couple of communion cups. I got some laughs from the church secretary but she set me up. She asked for a pic when I'm done. It's already cut and glued to the SRB. It's nice that they are PS so no gluing problems.

Also I checked a party supply store looking for miniature champagne flutes that might make good rocket nozzles or nose cones but no luck.

I'm glad I'm not building a rocket or booster cause the biggest problem would be the nose cone unless in found something and just built the rocket from that down.
Kerick mate check out what we call 2 Dollar shops or Pound stores is what I think the Brits call em..great places which have a huge amount of crap at extremely cheap prices.
I'm pretty damn sure you'd find something there.

As for the champagne flutes you might find that with Valentines Day coming up (don't forget lads  ) the £/$ Stores are quite likely to have small flutes in stock, especially the type with screw on stems.

Actually, I did go to the dollar store today and found a package of about half size shot glasses for a buck. I'll use them soon I'm sure. They also had the half size champagne flutes but I'll buy them later. Not much later as they will probably be gone.

 

Made it to church today and I'm well stocked now on communion cups. My wife thinks I'm nuts but I feel much better.
