Good news, indeed!

B12 deficiency? What about upping your Marmite intake?  <_<
Cheaper than pills and therefore probably/allegedly better for you...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Good news, Chris.

My better half takes metformin as part if he Type 2 treatment.  And yes, good decision to stay with the minimum dose.

As for B12 deficiency, there seems to be a lot of that around at the mo.  Lots of supplements available, but as the others say if you can get a boost from sources such as Marmite then that must be a better way of upping your levels.

Thanks lads   Doctors had a word with me about what I need to do regarding my diet, the pills are purely to get over the initial deficiency.

I'm of an age where I don't pay  ;) Besides I haven't paid for probably 30 years ever since I was put on blood pressure medication, and the thing that always surprised me was that as I got that free I got every other prescription free as well. As I said "you got to love the NHS"

Yeah, the advantages of a subsidised healthcare system are many and legion and much better than the alternatives!

Low in B12?  More red meat.   ;D

And Vegemite!

The one time I tried Vegemite I thought they had put part of Bondi Beach in it!

Yeah, there's your problem... Vegemite. Not Marmite.

(standing back and waiting for the ructions to start...) ;D

I won't argue about people's individual preferences but, for me, Marmite is insipid & bland, & just tastes ...wrong.

Made some more progress on the Hornet, not much, but it's progress.

Got a bit of a busy week this week, but want to get some done as I'm then off visiting the Tribe for a week or so. Ordered a couple of bits from Hannants yesterday, including some Eduard 3D "Space" transfers https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ED3DL72011?result-token=axHRM for the Meteor F8,. Thought I'd give them a try on the FR9 I got with my Airfix Club membership. Probably easier to use than etch, especially with my hand/eye co-ordination ?

Quote from: PR19_Kit on February 05, 2023, 06:57:00 AMWhat's different about the 'Space' stuff Chris?

Apparently they are 3D transfers that you use adhesive to attach. Read about them in magazines, so thought I'd give them a try. The Meteor seemed a good candidate. Probably be able to use Klear or similar to attach them.
