Oooops. It was Flyer who suggested the HiMAT.

It seems the source of the F-16/HiMAT was Cammnut with its Agile Falcon, actually built in plastic:

Flyer

"I'm a precisional instrument of speed and aromatics." - Tow Mater.

"People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing all day." - A. A. Milne.

Tophe

Thanks.

Now cartoonish Falcon as automatic vectorial change: <_<

Updated f-16 of the future

Tophe

To be built in plastic, this one may require scratch-building:   :-\

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Quote from: zenrat on December 25, 2022, 02:26:49 AMTophe, have you ever drawn an F16 with Mustang wings?
I answered in those days with drawings at the same scale but...
I felt unsatisfied. The kits I buy the most often (more than 6 pieces each) are Revell 1/144 F-16 (because 2 sets of tailplanes) and Heller 1/72 P-51 (because 2 canopies). This is the couple to match (in a scale-o-rama drawing):

Today I discovered on the Web the weird Aerospacelines/Convair 580 Concorde Trainer.
At https://aviationweek.com/air-transport/concorde-50-droop-snoop
Weird! But no relation to F-16 "normally", but I am not normal and I invented a F-16 derivative: ;)

You knew the Malcolm Hood canopy on old Spitfires, Mustangs, Corsairs? Here is an update, with Malcolm Hood on Falcons! What-if! ;)

(This is a step towards egg-Falcons or cartoon-Falcons) ;D

I believe visibility from a "normal" F-16 is good. The Malcolm Hood still takes it to another level  ;D

Tophe

Thanks for your liking this joke, perttime.

Then thanks to Kris' topic about the weird A6 of Luft46 area, see https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=51274.0
I have imagined F-16s inspired by this: <_<

There is another way like that, with two cockpits partly "one above the other": <_<
