I'm not sure there IS a Latin word for 'Kit'................

Their must be, but for a different kind of Kit such a Soldiers Kit.

If I've got this right ,  Christopher  is derived from two Latin words...........Christos (Christ) and  Ferens (bearer or  carrier)  from the story that the original Christopher  carried Christ over a deep river.

You could, of course address him by the Latin honorific "Dominus alis longioris".................................Master of the Longer Wings

I am simply glad that the most complex language after English that we had to contend with at school was French and then only for two years compulsory. I nearly took it as a subject after then but as there was limited time in the schedule and my thoughts that I would not use it, I havent, then there was not much point in takeing it. Now if Russian was an option at the time I probably would have given that a go.

Thinking about it, the most latin I have ever learned was from "Life of Brian" Romani ite domum

Roman: Walks into a bar, "I'll have a martinus please".
Bartender: "Do you mean martini"?
Roman: "No, just one for now".

I walked into a cafe a while ago and ordered a Canoli and got an Italian lesson from the lady behind the counter.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Fair enough - life is full of enough danger as it is... specially on your side of the Tasman... ;D

That'd make one hell of a slot racer. Even room for two motors, and the real thing was 4Wd after all.  ;D

Facebook images have to be hosted somewhere else unfortunetly.  I usually use imageshack to achieve this:

Now there's an image that takes me back to my childhood

While I was in Newcastle last week the local news was full of a dispute between the guy who's been restoring Bluebird K7 the hydroplane in which Campbell was killed for the last 7 years or so in South Shields and the museum at Conistone Water over the ownership of her. Lawyers involved so the public won't get to see her again for a while  :-\
