Yes they did, in 2001 in Dutch colours (as did FROG). 

The Hasegawa 1/72 Neptune (the only one in this scale) was first released 50 years ago, repopped as recently as 2019 (according to Scalemates), hence my suggestion in the Airfix thread that they produce one.

It'd complement their Shackleton, and if carefully planned/engineered could be released in various marks and markings.

Is a F86 Sabre as one of the typical 50's fighters, allowed to participate  ?

Welcome Gerrit!!  Plenty of time to join in, the GB just started last week and runs until 31st of May (at least...we are prone to 2 week extensions around here). 

An F-86 would be right at home in this GB as a quintessential 50s fighter.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

IIRC the Hase/Frog/Revell kit was only ever moulded as the 'long tail' P2V-7 version with two auxiliary jets under the wings, but the RAF ones were originally 'short tail' P2V-5s with tail guns. (I was at Topcliffe when the first ones arrived....) and there's more than one conversion kit around to build a 'short tail' one. The -5s had a larger radome too I think as well as many other changes.

A new kit with BOTH versions would be wonderful.

Exactamundo! (Although a family of kits would probably make more commercial sense in the long run.)

Not sure about the radome differences but the RAF Neptunes had the earlier, flatter cockpit design.

So i hope to get enough time for a F86 Sabre build in the next days , got that very cheap and silly kit in a bunch of unused Modelkits by a friend, normally not my kind of stuff ( build only german WW2 ) , but that will be a good place for it ... the kits are from TURKEY .  Sold together with a magazine i think somewhere in the last millennium.

Turkey? Sounds like PM Models. They come in yellow boxes. Fairly basic but buildable, some still being produced today.

You are absolutely right !   But this bunch came without boxes  , only wrapped in plastic . 
I am a bit proud, got it together in 20 hours .
