Like taking on an Ankylosaurus with a shotgun.

SA-2 had a 200kg fragmentation warhead.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Still wouldn't of fancied being in the M-60 crew though  :-\
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Or T Rex with a BB  gun..it's just annoying

Actually mate it didn't do a thing to the crew at all..from what I read the crew bearly noticed it ..they knew it happened but weren't that sure what it was cause it was so light a impact.
Apparently all the crew heard was  this mild thud  ;D

Over kill is often very understated .

Styrene engineering par excellence.

Completely over the top and full but looks fantastic.

Wardukw

Thanks Buzzy mate  ;D
Couldn't have been described better about being over the top .. I kinda forgot just how big the SA-2 is in 35th scale and I should have known as there's one sitting on a bloody trailer right behind me

1/72 S-75 Dvinas (the Soviet designation rather than the NATO reporting name) are available.
What would be (in)appropriate to air launch one or two?

Tu-22 fits right into the timeline...

Fred mate I just did a quick little search and bloody hell man ..the prices for the 72nd version is amazing..I found the 35th SA-2 for $12 US ..the 72nd one was nuts..$61US ..now this was a quick search but holy crap mate..if their anything like that..damn!  :o

The old Airfix Dvina with the truck and the launcher go for silly money now but someone just released a new1/72  kit of the missile and the launcher.
While searching for it I found this for $50.  A lot for a 1/72 armour kit but it does look like you designed it.   ;D

1/35 Trumpeter Ganef also popped up.  They always tempt me.

What your seeing there is a Cuban built machine..they did the exact same thing with the SA-2 on a T-55 tank chassis.
I've been wanting to build S-125M from the first time I saw one but as far as I can remember no one makes that missile system in 35th and in today's world if someone does..thr price man..the price  :o

Mate that Trumpeter Ganef has been on my list also ..for quite some time..sadly it's gonna remain there..it's well over 2 hundy here and also ...Scud 1 aswell  ;D

I always rather fancied turning the Scud launcher into the 130mm turret-armed coastal-defence vehicle.
Thankfully, sanity and a limited budget prevented... though I note that it's now available as a kit...

Wardukw

I know the system your thinking off Rick..it uses a MAZ 543 chassis..same as the Scud 2 8x8 .
A-222E Bereg-E 130mm coastal mobile artillery system.
Yes I want one  ;D

Yep did exactly that a lot of years ago now. Pretty crude build by todays standards. But certainly not going back for the kit. I know how much space it takes

Wardukw

Great work on that Buzzy mate...that's a lot of work..turned out awesome.
At one point I had 3 Dragon Scuds ..all in versus states of destruction and I had a build in mind.
Try a 16x16 wheel drive mobil ICBM TOPOL M..I think  that's what it called..course I never  got the chance to build it..the incident took care of that..bugga.

I'm starting to wonder if "The Incident" wasn't caused by your stash and your finished builds combined reaching critical mass.
Something Kit should be concerned about...   :-\

As it happens, I did succumb to the voices and purchase one of these a year or two ago.  It will make a nice basis of some made up SPAAA.

Well the "incident" definitely didn't cause that
My stash was never that big compared to say 90 percent of you guys..how ever built models wouldn't have helped ..my lounge was right behind the kitchen...either way it still sucked mate ..still feel the results of that everyday.

That T-54 would be perfect for a SPAAA nomatter what you mounted on it..that chassis has been used for damn near everything  ;D
