No thanks.

Does that include a matching robe?

Falcstang peacebringer is pretty much finished.  Just the Tophe pilot figure to insert and the canopy to attach.

Also close to finishing is the RAN FAA SLUF babykiller.  It's all bombed up and just needs the opening part of the canopy adding.

The irony of these two builds reaching climax simultaneously is not lost on me.

All modelling is put on hold for two or three weeks.
The insurance company builders have given us three days notice that removalists are coming to empty the house of furniture so the floor can be replaced.
So if i'm not at work i'll be packing stuff into boxes or sleeping.
And then we'll be living wherever they send us while the work is done.
Hopefully a nice local Air B'n'B with a yard for Charlie the Wonder Dog.
I plan to catch up on as much of my reading as I can.
Maybe write some back stories.

Best of luck, I hope the temporary accommodation is decent and the work on the house goes to schedule. Best of luck to you and the Mrs, and of course Charlie the Wonder Dog  ;)

Nice that they gave you so much notice for such a massive upheaval in your lives....................  :banghead:

Thanks folks.
Packing is moving ahead.
No news of where we will be sleeping yet.  We've been eyeing up the neighbours caravans...

Still packing.
Insurance company rattled some cages and their accomodation supplier came through with an Air BnB under 10 minutes drive from home (I ride past it on my cycle to work).
Not our first choice (that was under 5 minutes drive away) but that had gone by the time I got back to them.
I celebrated by sneaking down to the shed and removing the masking from the glazing on a tiny 1/72 KP Piper i've been playing with.  It needed doing as it had been on for a while and I was concerned another two weeks and it wouldn't come off at all.

Yeah, sticky tape can do that...  :banghead:

I'm fed up with not being able to build.
I suppose I could bring something over to the Airbnb they've put us in but i'd a) always be short of that one tool I need, b) not be able to spray paint, and c) definitely get paint or glue on something expensive.

It's a townhouse (semi detached for UK folks) and i've not lived this close to neighbours for a long time.  I'd forgotten what a PitA it can be.  We can hear what next door is watching/listening to (assuming that goes both ways) and smell what he's smoking on his balcony (only tobacco i'm afraid).
Worse though is that Charlie the Wonder Dog refuses to go upstairs.  We persuaded her up the first night but come the morning she refused to come down.  They are wooden treads with no risers so she can see through them.  Plus the banisters are wire rope.  She's scared of the stairs as we don't have them at home.  I had to carry her down which isn't easy when she weighs 35kg.  She won't sleep downstairs without us though.  She barks.  She's got too used to being with the rest of her pack.
So we are taking turns sleeping on the sofa in the lounge room.  The things you do for your dog...

The house itself was built about 20 years ago obviously on the cheap.  Biggest sign of this is not enough power points.  Very frustrating.  How can you seriously have a double garage with only a single double socket?  If I was living here i'd have a sparky in toot sweet to at least double what is here (much more than double in the garage).

Yup. ;D

When I was married our house had open plan stairs and whilst our Doberman was fine going up them, coming down was a different matter. She'd stand at the top and then all of a sudden basically throw herself down the stairs. I swear she closed her eyes, made a hell of a racket but she'd just get up, shake herself down and head for the garden or kitchen
