NARSES2

This arrived from the Big H yesterday. When I get around to building it, it will almost certainly be one of the Dutch examples out of the box as I must admit I have a bit of a thing about Dutch pre/early war camouflage.

DB-8A/3N "Outnumbered and Fearless". I also got the SH masks to go with it as there's a lot of canopy framing

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Retreived from the local Postal Office this evening and from eBay

Now I've got one of these too.  ;D

The PO managed to hide it very well, and they also hid the red card to tell me where it was! It took some interrogation of the postie concerned to discover it, and at last I can get on with my 50s GB build, but I've lost half a month now!  :(
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I love it when they do that, especially when it's a subject one is rather taken by! What a great score!

I too like the early Dutch camo's along with the usage of the colour orange. Nice looking machine

That could almost pass for a Japanese aircraft from the same era, just add spatted undercarriage.

The Wooksta!

Willie passed me an unbuilt Huma Me 209A earlier, whilst I placed a large order with uncle Frank.

A few eBay acquisitions that trickled in last night;

1/48 Kinetic F-18D ATARS.  Got it for a song because the box is damaged.  Kit and decals are in perfect shape with sealed bags.
1/48 Alley Kat Shorts Tucano T.1.  Resin kit (my third in the stash, none built yet).  Looks a nice kit with a single piece body with a drop in cockpit and a nice clear resin canopy.
1/48 Flightpath Weapons & Detail Set for 1/48 Airfix Lightning.  Nice set with a lot of white metal parts including missiles.  Lots of PE and nice looking decals too.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Did i build about 6-7 pieces of Me 262 since November ?

Just received the next 2 kits , only standard Revell stuff for cheap from the second hand market .
The problem is that I have just drawings for another 5 of them ready  :banghead:

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Dizzyfugu

A Meng 1:72 ZTQ-15 light tank; will probably only receive a fictional new livery, I am inclined to make it a Finnish Army tank.  ;D

Two 1/72 Mistercraft kits:
Convair XFY-1 Pogo
Gloster Javelin

I thought I was going in with my eyes open, considering Mistercraft's reputation.  The Pogo is ex KP and looks pretty good to be honest, simple but perfectly serviceable.  Might work as a mojo fixer.

The Javelin though...   :o I bought it for kitbash fodder and even then, I might struggle to get something from it. :dalek:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Astound us!   Get a high quality Javelin out of it!
