Uh, maybe there is another way to build as model a member of this family:
- taking from the Spit Tr.9 inspiration just for the rear bubble, not its precise shape
- so using a standard (long) 51D bubble there instead

Tophe me little French mate you've nailed it ..those ideas are a prefect layout...plenty of view for the instructor to see ahead and it's using an older model P-51 as a trainer..awesome stuff bud  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Tophe

Thanks!

And it was not completely finished; saying "rear bubble" did not mean "no bubble forward" <_<

Oh yes, I have the explanation: I forgot to eat my anti-psychotic pills this evening, sorry. :-\

With a rear propeller, the rear bubble could even be the normal one:  <_<

I like the Pusherstangs.    ;D I'd assume that they would have a tricycle landing gear? And I'd move the wings further back, due to CoG reasons? Might be worth a build, I think I have a Matchbox Mustang somewhere, which is a great conversion basis.

Tophe

Thanks for your interest.
Well, of course to have a propeller ground clearance, the tail must be high requiring a tricycle landing gear, but I'd better add a lower fin to protect. And yes, for balance with landing gear, the wing mut be moved backwards, thanks again!:  <_<

Other possibility; increasing the little bubble of the B-9 to the size of the D-9's one:

Even worse was possible, a drawing of it has been made to show "what is unacceptable":

And remember the main advantage of the bubble canopy: "perfect view all around, guaranteed!"...

Just not to the front matey ..I hear it's quite important for pilots to be able to see forward  ;D
Now if the back seater is a navigator or radar operator then he wouldn't really need to see forward..the backseater in a F4 Phantom can't see a damn thing from the back seat.
That would mean your idea would work perfectly fine mate 👍  <_<
