I've recently switched to DeLuxe's 'Glue 'n Glaze' and find it works very well, specially with their needle point applicators plugged into the top.

It's quite runny, but the needle gives you a very fine run of glue, it sets reasonably fast and it really holds the canopy down.

As a plus point, if you HAVE to get the canopy off again, as I've had to with my Swift F10, a scalpel blade along the edge cuts it away cleanly. None of the permanent bonding you get with styrene glue.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Quote from: McColm on August 07, 2022, 05:29:55 AMI've been wearing safety glasses when I am sanding which seems to work. They also work for me as I suffer from Hayfever. Due to the sunny weather that we are experiencing over here in the UK,  I have noticed that there's a lot of dust particles in the air which can be really annoying if they land in your eyes.

Wet sanding takes care of that problem very nicely.

Cheers Kit. I was looking at their advert the other day and was wondering about it, but hadn't seen heard a review as such. Probably pick some up at Telford.

Received a small package from Cooksongold although any Jeweller would do I suppose as they handle things that are very small like we do.

A pair of tweezers, stainless steel, standard size

A pair of Diamond Tweezers Locking

I recently got a set of saw blades and a handle from Ali.

Advertised as for Gundam, but will probably work with other genres too...
.2mm thick and something I hadn't realized before is that you can mount them either through the 3 holes in the centre or by the edge, which will make for more useful, deeper cuts.
About $26 including postage, but should last me years.

And incoming, a set of mini drill bits from 0.1 to 3mm, which should be most useful, as long as I can remember they are there and use them...

I quite often use saw blades like that with my fingers rather than bothering to mount them.

Ah, glad I'm not the only one  ;D

Yeah, I was using the old CMK one I had like that - but I'll give the handle a go and see how it works for me.
I usually use the razor saw sans handle, it's easier to manoeuvre that way.

Nope, only about 3 weeks or less. Not bad... though the silver felt pen I ordered at the same time is 'still in transit'...
