Last night I ordered an Eduard pre painted photo etch set for the interior of this build. This means that the interior is not going to be touched until this arrives and I know what I will need to do and what I can produce with the addition of the set. Small work will still be going on, just not much of it.

Well you see there is this large clear canopy over the cockpit of the Lancaster which does tend to make the inside somewhat visible so I really have no option.

Makes sense. That's why post war RCAF Lancs had most of it painted over....to make it easier on us modellers

The eduard zoom set for the interior arrived this morning so I will be able to make progress with the interior.

Sunny weather and a bit of mojo means I put some primer onto the wings to see how well they have come out so far.

Still lots to be done but its progress.

Not bad at all ! I'd be happy enough like that, with just a bit of a rescribe here and there, and decals to hide the rest

I'm not though so there will be more PSR in the future but no where near as much as there had been. The colour scheme that is going to be used will not allow for any blemishes on the body work either so its got to be really good although I think I can get away with some of the underside once I check the engine nasals against it.

Will it have four main landing gear legs, like the Windsor, or will you have to use the doors from one set of engine nacelles to fill up the gaps?

All the undercarriage, four units, will be fitted. I do intend to get this finished for this time next year.

McColm

I wonder if you can do something similar with the Airfix Avro Shackleton?

PR19_Kit

Surely, it has parallel chord inner wing sections too.
