The Wooksta!

Snagged a Dekno Hispano Ha 1109 conversion on EBay. Bit pricey but I'm looking to clone it for use elsewhere on a lbetter kit than the Amodel complete kit. Comes with decals too, so they will be useful elsewhere.

This might get big fat tyres (a resin KRAZ set perhaps?).  Almost definitely a RHD conversion.

And I couldn't resist these.

The truck looks like something you could use in one of those rusted out with flat tires behind the barn dioramas. And the vodka bottles must be full as it appears they all have caps on. What a silly thing! In the Ukraine diorama you're thinking of that could be a problem!

In the mail today are the set of Heavy Hobby/Voyager Panther Late Version Tracks and on first impressions the word Wow!!! came to mind.
I test fitted a couple and the go together perfectly and they are fully workable tracks..they are going to look brilliant on this Strumpanther.
I'm actually looking forward to about 4+hrs work

It's odd really that as long as something "works as advertised" a long task like that can be quite relaxing with a hot mug of tea by your side for company   ;D

Oh that would be coffee me ol mate and with the second coffee I'll have ginger nuts biscuits to dunk into it and I'll bet a few cigarettes.
You also wouldn't believe the detail on these tracks ..these are stunning .

I've never dunked biscuits but my mum was a ginger nut dunker  ;D  One of our popular daily's (The Star I think) has had headlines over the last couple of days over dunking as some scientific researchers came up with the best biscuit to dunk is a Jaffa Cake. The papers going mad over this saying a Jaffa Cake is not even a biscuit  ;D All tongue in cheek but hilarious.  ;D

Jaffa cakes are not biscuits, they are cakes, as proven in court.

We don't have Jaffa cakes here but the name alone kinda implies it's not a biscuit..must have been a right wally for em to say it's a biscuit.

And I NEVER dunk them!

Downunder we have three or four different types of Gingernut biscuits, varying on hardness.  They vary according to the state in which they are baked basically.

Best dunking bikkies are Hobnobs.  Don't think we get them here though.

Of course if you want to get fancy then there is the Tim Tam as a straw thing.

A google search for G.506 trucks came up with this.

I've ordered a set of big fat resin wheels and tyres.
