If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I like that Fred, that really looks good.
No less practical than some of the other even wackier ideas and mods that actually existed.

Yeah, looks better-proportioned than lots of other stuff that made it into hardware. :o

Painted mostly bronze green.  Wheels on next then i'll tackle the (link and length) tracks.

Just take it easy Fred you'll nail those tracks..38T tracks are bloody small fidgety little buggers .
If I ever build an idea I have ill have 10 of those road wheels to deal with  .
That's alot of track  :o

I realised today I still have to paint the tyres before the wheels can go on.
I'll get to that next week.  For tomorrow I have the Ballarat NNL (model show).

Ohhh I did kinda forget that this is 48th scale and not the proper scale 😬
Think though..only 8 single road wheels mate ..not 14 doubles ..that'll make life more pleasant 😊
Bit damn those tracks are even smaller than I thought..it could be worse..Kettengrad in 48th? .

Hmm  Kraftkettenkrad.  I'd forgotten about them.  I have some rough sketches somewhere for a planned scratchbuilt 1/25 version powered by a Chevrolet in-line 6 cylinder.
A Chevenkrad.
It didn't progress because of a lack of an obvious source of the running gear.  However a 1/48 Pz 38 hull is about the perfect size.

Oh you naughty man you have fired off a set of neutrons best left damped down...

Only to happy to help matey boy 🙂 😉
Man putting a 6cyl into a Kettenkrad will take some work for sure..the RW engine is small mate..1500cc with a massive 36hp  ;D
This is gonna be a very cool project and I'm so happy I could inspire new ideas

Well it won't exactly be a six in a Kettenkrad.  More a motorcycle/tank built around the engine.  V8 might be easier as it's a shorter engine.  But why choose the easy option.
