McColm

Looks like something the former USSR would have built.

 ;D

the DC-7 is a NewRay model of unknown (to me) scale ..

Tophe

No matter the precise scale, the result is impressive!

I think it's a re-popped FROG 1/96 scale mould from the look of it.

it is rather a kind of diecast (to be assembled with included screws, with quite coarse wheels ...)
but then actually in plastic, not metal

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ahah, maybe they used the FROG kit as 'master'? Not the first time that's happened.

DC-7 & Pogo mash-up looks like it could feature in 'No Highway', with James Stewart at the controls.

Based on the size of the wings in relation to the fuselage, it's probably closer in size to the old 1/122 Revell DC-7.

nr. 3 in a series of 9, each taking its wings from the next :
blimp <-- DC-7  <-- Pogo (1/48)  <-- Privateer  <-- Trident  <-- Atlantic  <-- Skywarrior (1/48)  <-- Ju88 (1/32)  <-- Emily

there is a saying that goes : "Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings"
let us try that out with :

Pogo (1/48) & Privateer, blue : hybrid aircraft/animals e.a.
