LOL! Maybe it's submersible, though...?

That's why it has six engines: take-off on six, cruise on two, keep swapping which two during the flight, then kick in all the ones that will still start for the bombing run... ;)

One I could be tempted with, albeit in captured markings.  Because the vile regime lost.

The RAF B-35s were B(PR)1 'Northamptons'.  ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The Wooksta!

I do have a pair of YB49s that are intended for RAF service.

A nice whiffy addition, even though in 1:48 only (for now): Modelcollect launches an attarctive model of Focke Wulf's tailless proposal for the 1000 x 1000 x 1000 bomber project.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Might be easily converted into a 1:72 bomber? Different cockpit interior with side-by-side seating, bogies on the landing gear...? The kit seems to be quite expensive, though.

The Wooksta!

The planet one was about 25 notes when it came out in 1999.  It's about three times that now.

Three SC1000 on the built up model? That's a terrible shape for an externally carried weapon, the drag would
be horrendous and severely reduce speed and range as the amount of fuel carried would be greatly reduced.

Of course the entire 1000 X 1000 X 1000 concept was daft, all of that expense to carry a single bomb.

Looks pretty basic, not a lot of detail and, as Thomas said, a bit pricey for what you get.

Based on the parts breakdown, with the separate nose pod, it looks like it would be fairly
straightforward to do a scale-o-rama into a 1/72nd multi-place bomber.

It's also not that big in 1/48th.
