Just received today, 19:20 or 7:20pm, from the postie  :o  a package containing flow pack  :banghead:

Inside hidden away was a 1/72 Airfix BAC Canberra B(I).6 (RAF) or B.20 (RAAF) kit still sealed in it's bag.

This will be used with the resin B.6 forward fuselage I received about a week ago. May become an E.15 as I have a Modeldecals set for one, but then it could become something else. So many posibilities with the B.6 as a basis.

I've never had a RAF Canberra but I've had 3 B-57 Canberras...it's that cockpit canopy which does it for me ..it's where its should be ..in the middle of the fuselage..if I ever get many hands on a 48th Sea Vixen that cockpit is getting moved ..I can promise that . ;D

Will the Navigator go behind the Pilot then? If so remember that the reason he is in a "coal hole" is because the radar displays were not very good so he needing a darkend room to be able to see the display.

Honestly mate I have no idea but that wouldn't surprise me at all but in wiffy world he's displays would be much much better  ;D
I'm pretty sure another model builder out there has already done the cockpit move on a Sea Vixen but I haven't and I want one so I'll do my own..at some point  ;D

Had a look earlier, saw the postage price and thought "had away and bollards!"  I mean, I'd like another AZ 109H but not at a combined price of nigh on 30 notes. Sex, travel and their mothers...

Anyhoo, the He 51 snagged on eBay on Thursday arrived, along with some Spanish He 111 decals. The E still flying in 1954 is very tempting.

55 won't be anything big for me sadly..neither was my 21st...I was very busy on my 21st doing military stuff  ;)
TBH I've spent many b days doing the same thing I did the day before and after..just always seems to turn into another day of the week ..nothing special at all.

Just received a Matchbox 1:700 USS Minneapolis - was a bargain, might end up as simple body donor bank or with a shortened hull.

I'd forgotten Matchbox did ships, and I think I built a couple
