RAF Albatros T.4

Here's a 1/72 L-39 Albatros from KP Models (I think).  Overall it's not a bad little model.  The detail is a bit odd, the pitot tubes are a lot thicker than they should be, there's no wheel wells, adn no cockpit detail at all.  But I like this kit.

I used decals from an Italeri Hawk 100 kit (I think).  I figure if the UK went all Warsaw Pact or Czechoslovakia stayed the Czech Republic, the RAF have used this instead of the Hawk, which was never developed. 

If I could find another copy of this kit, I'd probably try and make a naval trainer of some sort.

That's a sweet Albatross Anthony! I'm absolutely amazed at how many projects you turn out!

I gotta admit I was hoping to see some lozenge until I read the T.4 part of the title. Still, a great build!

Surely you mean" Stormy Petrel " as in     Stormy Petrel on a stick.......

Thinks Stormty Petral isnt such a bad name for a shipboard fighter?? perhaps based on the  aforementioned Albatross.........Albatross I was thinking WW1.....oh no...time warp time.
