Every time I read "british secret project : figthers" a lovely photo catch my eyes. In page 20, chapter two (dedicated only to the Scimitar) you have a nice photo of the supermarine 508. I fall in love with this plane which look fine with its big straights wings and its butterfly tail.(It seems a CF-100 Canuck  had making whoppe with a Fouga Magister in a dark alley :P )
I thought "one day i will made a model of this thing..." and I made it this afternoon!
Here's the result...  
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

lol!!! don't know why but I have british prototype fever... don't know how to cure that. burning the book? exorcism by William Friedkin? :P :P
Well I have nothing to do for the moment (on holidays) so i have to do something of my hands. I must say I produce models like a factory and my room is now totally overcrowded  ^_^  :P  :)  :blink:

:huh: Poor Archibald... Not a chance to survive: if the only cure is burning this book  :wub: or destroying this model :wub:  :wub: it is better to die, as a what-if hero that we will celebrate each year... :(

Thank you for your backing Tophe.
As you seem to be a nice guy, I give you an important  mission to execute after my death. Don't fool me!!
I want a huge monument to celebrate my memory. It would be a statue (don't know how to say that in english) in mandarom style.
I think about a gigantic Archie (45m high) on top of a hill, with a plane on one hand and BSP book on the other. A turning light on top of my head (like a gyrophare) to illuminate the world. Red with white strips to avoid plane crashes on it (like the Tchernobyl chimney)
After the building of this fantastic monument,all my fellows here, on this forum would become pilgrims. They woud offer me their models and let them on an altar in front of the monument.

The 508 was available as a vacform by Project-X.

Not for that I just like V-tails as tophe like twin-aircrafts :P  (Ie very much)

If you are loving V-tails as I love twin-tails and JHM loves T-tails, you must (someday):
- tell Hotte your opinion about his V-tail Mustang (at  http://www.whatifmodelers.com/forum//index...?showtopic=9917 )
