TSR-2 in full ground pounding mode here.
6 sqn (flying can openners) useing the TSR-2 in the long range interdiction role, replaceing Canberras in the same role. Seen here with a typical load out of sneb pods on the outter pylons, tanks and winders on the inner's and 6 1000 pounders in the weapons bay.

The 6 sqn TSR-2 seen here along side the first RAAF TSR-2 (A8-1).

underside shot showing the full load out.. I havent allocated a serial to it just yet, but im working on it. And as those of us who have built one already know. u dont need any ballast in the nose, unless as i found out on this one, u intend to hang heavy (read resin) stores under the wings. It shifts the centre of gravity just enought to lift the airframe off the ground at the nose gear. A small lump of lead in the radome sorted that out.

The kit is built oob bar the paint job and war load, the unit markings came off an old matchbox Phantom kit, the Snebs came from the same place.  Bombs from the original Airfix Canberra, resin drop tanks, and the inner pylons came from a Mig-25, The outters are off a revell Tornado (the tonka inner pylons inverted).
thats about it, started it on Good friday, last decal went on easter monday morning.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

Both of them look nice, I particularly like the low vis roo roundels on the RAAF one.

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
