The Harrier (a P.1127, actually), is for the Airfix group build. The Prowler and Hawkeye I want to do in Dutch markings, but I can't find Dutch decals at that scale. The VC-10 will be OOB/real, in a diorama with the Tornado. The SR.53 will be almost-real (don't have the original markings). The chassis and engine are for a Renault Magnum truck. I'm modifying the engine (adding a second turbocharger, and big-bore exhausts) and maybe the front suspension, the truck will be a what-if.

I know "cool" when I see it, progress or not!

Ya, cool !

Lookit the tail on that VC-10 ! Woah ! Funny, as long as that kit's been about, that's the first time I've ever seen it.....always had my eye on it at the local HS, tho.

Any 72nd scale helos that would have wee Dutch decals for them ?

Helos - good idea. I've bought an F-16 and an NF-5 in 1:72, but their decals are a bit too large [1]. I suppose I could cut them down to size, but I'm not good at cutting circles with a 3 mm diameter.
Haven't got round to producing my own decals yet, either.

1: and in one case, incorrect. The pie slices should be 3x 120 degrees, but the kit has them at the wrong angles...

If you have access to metal tubing..brass or aluminium in the right diameter, you can use it either as a stencil outline, or even to cut if you file the end sharp enough.(And press down REAL hard!) Alternately, there are drawing stencils available at many sationary or drafting supply shops that have a variety of round holes in them.
