This is my First Scratchbuilt model...while more Sci-Fi I have seen a some concept art for a UCAV by Avpro that is very similar.

This fighter is based on a pic I ran across on the web for a video game. It is a cool design and looked simple enough for me to tackle. The only thing I didn't make from scratch are the guns...they are part of a landing gear strut.

This is also the first time I have made my own decals...know I know I can do it I don't have to worry about how obscure my taste gets ;)

This thing is only about two and a quarter inches so it looks a bit rough in the pics. It looks a lot better in person.

Eddie I would love to say heck yeah! but it took me forever to make this one little critter

I did learn a bunch of do's and don'ts on this one so who knows whats next but I have even more admiration for the guys who build from scratch thats for sure.

Very cool Jeff! That's some excellent scratchbuilding there! Did you use blisterpack material for the clear parts? I'd be interested in how you made that cool canopy. Excellent work!  B)

I know I'm dating myself, but it looks like a full-up version of the ship from the video game "Asteroids".

Nice work!

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Brian, the canopy is a bit of Ave's Apoxie Sculpt painted black....I really tried to find a 1/44 donor from my scrap pile but canopies seemed to be the one thing all my kits were missing     I have to say I'm surprised the canopy didn't come out lopsided.

Everything else was sheet styrene except for the guns, paint, decals and glue  ;)

Here is my inspiration pic.

Fantastic stuff, Jeff!

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

I like that!

Looks like you could 'bash one using parts from a Star Destroyer or something similar.
