It's a T-Tail!!!  There's a standing rule around here: anyone who builds a T-Tail must call me day or night, whether we're in plant shutdown or not!   ^_^

This looks meaty, boss.  And that's a good thing.

PM me, I'll get your pics up to size, eh?

Archibald,

At first glance, this picture makes the Intruder look so much larger - those large roundels certainly make me look twice.

Greg

Thanks to SeaVixen advices I vreated a photobucket account...
So here's the bigger photos :)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

In fact I have bought this Intruder some years ago but never finished it (no decals). This forum gave me ideas, and I started to modify the model...

I had no plan, just wanted to make something funny with this unfinished A-6.
I started to add antennas everywhere (the fairing on the back is the gun pod of an alphajet). The big exhausts are glue covers!
the wing tips fuel tanks come from a P-80. I have fun making the T-tail, JHM (this too was absolutely not planned at the beginning). The antenna on top of the T-tail is a toothpick (I just love toothpicks... long life to the toothpicks... so usefull for models), a clean toothpick   . God bless the Toothpicks!!!
I started to paint the canopy, and finnally ended with something roughly similar to a Vulcan   B)  ^_^

I love the way you manage this things with almost a "minimalist" approach Archibald.

Looks like a baby V bomber to me

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I like it. Especially the canopies.

I managed to delicately sand the windshield "structure" on the white side. Before that, I had the impression that my A-6 was mothballed as the one we can see in Davis Monthan. :P
I bought a F-104 some days ago (to change it into a CL-1200) so maybe I will add some drop tank from it...
I also moved the refueling probe, because I really hate its location on the Intruder (it looks like a horn!).
The navigator window was created after I had painted the whole canopy...thanksfully white paint is easy to scrap.

I really have fun to do this model (at one time I didn't know were I would stop: I even considered making crescent wings starting from the wing fold, but it was a bit too difficult for me).
What  I can say is  this forum was really a great source of ideas :)
Thanks everyone... ;)

QuoteI HATE COMPUTERS!!!
So do I. Yesterday I took the remains of my old commputer outside and re-programmed it with a 2Kg hammer. Always wanted to do that. ^_^

And I do like your A-6. B)
Must do that, to!!! Nice idea.. my problem is i tend to do the same thing, but with my fists and, more annoying, on the "ordinary" computer (Ie not withdrawn from service) :P
