Speaking of the Falklands and Shrikes, I've seen one picture of a Harrier GR.3 set up and carrying a couple Shrikes.  Does anyone have that and/or know the serial of that aircraft?

This is a ambitious project, Zac! Don't forget the RAF 29 Squadron F-4s at Wideawake or the Argentine Air Force 707/F-27/F-28/C-130 or the Argentine Navy Tracker/Neptune or even the Argentine Coast Guard Skyvan! Goodl luck!  :P

GR.3s were armed with SNEB rockets, BL-755 cluster bombs, and laser-guided bombs for ground strikes. Although they didn't have a laser target designator themselves, they could hit targets designated by ground forces. The GR.3s were also hastily wired for Sidewinders and US-built Shrike anti-radar missiles, but didn't actually carry such weapons.

Think they had the Naval 3 row 2.75 inch Snebs rather than the standard RAF ones as the Radar/ECM emmisions produced by the ship unsettlked the wiring on the standard SNEBs !!!!!.

Mayhaps what I saw a picture of was a trials installation, but it definitely was a Shrike on the rail under a GR.3 wing.
