See, told y'all there'd be more.....

MASSIVE and I do mean massive sink holes around all locater pins. And those dimples in the upper wing are just a joke. The Matchbox kit - which I also have - is a much better 'blank canvas' than the Airfix one. However this wee kit has a superb little cockpit. Perhaps cross-kitting would have been a better idea.

Nothing better than 20/20 hindsight, eh ? <_<

Here's the last shots of a 'naked' Starfighter F3a aswell. The Italeri kit fell together without a problem except for the rear/front fuselage sections which needed a wee bit of blending. Both are ready for the paintshop dunno when I'll be able to throw paint at them, prolly early next week.

Thanx for looking.

Dang, Ian!  That Strikemaster, though as much pain as it's been, is tempting me to go out and buy the one at one of my LHS's.  Looking forward to seeing what they look like in the end!

Ian I'm stunned at how you were able to overcome the many issues with that turkey of a Strikemaster kit. Your progress on the Starfighter is impressive too! I'm looking forward to seeing your next update.
