A fictional "roundel" I'd like to use as a mask.  End product was going to be off-white.

Does it look too much like a snowflake?   :huh:

I did pinch the idea from a snowflake cut-out my kid did once.

Idea is that it's supposed to look like a gear, sort of.  Maybe in near-black?

I think it looks badass! B) If I was smart enough to figure out how to do it myself, I'd try a modern day Japanese Rising sun. Definately has mega potential. B)

My thoughts exactly. On that note, I remember I had a set of paintballl goggles that were like a pilots helmet and all black, so I made a copy of the Empires roundel and stuck it on the ear protectors, it looked dammed good at the time.

I think it looks great!!

Invent your own roundel.....fantastic....a super design and clever.

I think it looks fine, just avoid any winter schemes unless it's the North Pole Defense Force  :lol:

Just being a nuisance , I actually like it. If you want that industrial look maybe knock a hexagon out of the center of the roundel but I don't think it's necessary.

Well, given what you had in mind....Either LUCASFILM is going to sue you or ROTARY INTERNATIONAL will (google them if you aren't familiar with this organization).  Don't know what's worse. B)

Oh yeah, the Rotary Group....does look familiar.  Here it is with their (fictional country, that is) religious icon included in the center (similar idea to the Star Of David on Israeli jets).

Hmmmm very interesting, Mr Howling Mouse. Personally, I'd be tempted to cut down the number of spokes on it so it looks less snow-flake like, but I really think you're on to something here!

Of you could always use maple leaf roundels!
