Hello all:

I just picked up Heller's 1/72 Viggen kit. The decals are passable, but I'm hoping the aftermarket has better.

I'm looking for a standard service Viggen in the classic splinter camo. Anyone know if the aftermarket has tackled that?

I had heard that IPMS Stockholm had made a very comprehensive Viggen sheet, but I could not find it on their website. Can anyone confirm if this sheet existed at all?

Thanks in advance

I believe someone in Sweden (whose name escapes me at the moment) did some.  Looong time ago, and I'm not at all sure you'd still be able to find them, but they were very good.  They also did other Swedish subjects.  Their Vertol 107 decals are stupendous.

If you can't find any Viggen decals, Flying Colours do several generic Swedish roundel & numerals sheets in 1/72 as well as other scales, you can get them at Hannants.  You should be able to find something compatiable, can't help you with stencils though.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

It's a pity Two Bobs didn't get around to scaling-down their excellent 1:48 sheet.
