Oh christ, Spatman's gonna wet himself over that one!!!!!
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

I e-mailed Eurofighter about the overall colour and this was the reply I received.

All Eurofighters are delivered in the same paint scheme, but as the partner companies in the nations buy the paint from different manufacturers, the shade of grey may differ slightly.

QuoteIIRC, some people here have unhealthy obsession with spats (spatophiles?).
I quite agree.

Man, I'm glad  I  am not plagued by any such obsession!!

I am put in mind of Henry Ford's dictum which might be revised thus:

"You can have a Typhoon in any colour providing it's grey."
Life's too short to apply all the stencils

What's a "T-Tail"?????    :P

I love grey planes.  In fact, when most modelers seemed so upset with the loss of colorful 1970's and earlier schemes on aircraft, I was hunting hi and lo for low-viz decals which were tough to find a decade ago.

Especially when the matte grey planes become all grunged up and the many touch-up paint jobs start showing up.

Lord loves a workin' plane.

And so do I.
