Israeli What Ifs

The recent 'activity' in the Middle East has me interested in some Israeli a/c. For one, I'm finishing my kitbashed Lavi started a couple of years ago, (just as Anigrand announced their kit!) At least mine's the single seater. I was thinking of a "Super Kfir", using a Mirage IV but giving it the "Kfir treatment", twin J-79s, canards & of course, missiles along with that cool camo & the yellow & black triangles. I know Israel has modified the F-4 & they have the F-16I. Were there any other projects? Any mods to the A-4? Any other indigenous proposals like the Lavi or Arye? Maybe even a helo gunship, based on the Super Frelon. Kind of like the Sikorsky S-67.

The Mirage IV would certainly benefit from the adaption of a one piece windscreen and a canopy with better visibility, maybe a donor can be had from the Mirage 2000?

Isreal did want the Mirage IV, initially 15 for the recon role and then later a strike version with conventional bombs and AS-30 capability. Unfortunately they wanted the French Air Force to order the conventional version first (France only having the aircraft for the Nuclear strike or Recon roles).

That's really a COOL whatif !!!
