As for getting Leigh to do it, yeah the price is right but, like I said, I was kinda hoping to get it done THIS year....   ang-ha-ha

So funny: just as I tell my seven-year-old daughter that I'm done adding stuff to the kit's seat, she gives me this look and says, "Daddy, did you check to see if the seat FITS this time?"

Truth be told, I *did* check the kit's own seat and guess what?  IT had to be shaved down to fit the kit's cockpit tub, too!

While Aires and Black Box can sleep well tonight knowing their market share remains intact, I'll sleep a little better too:

So, while I was at it, I embellished a few things on the rest of the kit's cockpit pieces, too.

And here's a comparison of the before and after kit seat I enhanced (but the best pics at full rez/size are up there, eh?)

Baz (I can call you Bazz, rgt?), if it were me, I'd say "Screw it!" and go to the local pub for a drink.

... If it were me. ;)  Now sand that b-e-a-utiful beotsh down!  :P

Done!   In addition to a slug of buckles, d-rings, etc., I've even included a hint of the stitching on the belts.   ;)

Now, an extreme close-up so you can see all the flaws at about 4X actual size (but it will look good in the fuselage, I'm hoping).
