The Phantom is there purely to show how big the TSR2 is (the Phantom isn't small after all) and NOT to annoy Lee.  Also its off Midway which was Eddies old ship.

This model is now starting to grow on me, she captures that early 70s RAF look I was after :)

EDIT: would help if I attatched the photo  :dum:

Well, she's one of the first birds in service going by the codes & the camo.  When I did her I was thinking of those early RAF Buccs -very clean and shiny, not much under the wings.  Rather like the Eurofighters are only now starting to acquire a bit of grime and carrying some stores.

I was thinking 45 in the early 70s would be like the first Lightnings with 74, they were more of a unit of test-pilots than a front-line fighter squadron.

That sure is one great looking TSR.2 B)  .

I would also like to compliment you on your Vigilante F-4. I got to the Midway a bit too late as they had already transitioned to VFA-151. I would have loved to work with the Phabulous Phantom. ^_^

Look behind you!

Any chance of a head-on view of the F-4 & TSR-2 together ???

I'll see what I can do - gotta go to work now :(
