I was innocently buying paints at a local shop when Dragon's 1/72 Mi-28 jumped off the shelf at me, screaming to be built as a what-if.

Built it last weekend, started painting it today.

Step one:

After a ton of Tamiya tape and a lot of patience, here is the result:

And great paint, David! I must admit I never got the hang of "Shatter" camouflage painting. Did it once on a Viggen (by hand), and I swore I'd never do it again.

Bleeding hell!! That is bloody amazing paintwork. It's a tough call when kit jump out at you when you are just looking or minding your own business ain't it. I had that problem with a couple of MiG1.44 kits. After looking at thier desperate little boxes al I could do was give them a good home.... :D  :D
