there's always a decent F-22 to make

Actually, Trumpeter has *already* released an F-22 under their cheap-o label of "Mini Hobby". I've got two kits - picked'em up for $5 CDN each in Chinatown.

In the box, it looks really good - super-thin missile fins, air intakes, shape looks accurate. Not a scaled-down 1/48 Italeri kit. (Got that for comparison.) Sharper than Italeri's offering. Haven't put them together yet.
