That Hind looks good... another canopy perhaps? (not thinking of that horrible south african hind)

Genial! Plenties of ideas and cool models...
hmm I like the two TSR-2, particularly the TSR-2 GR.10. Full of bumps, modified cockpit and concorde exhausts : brilliant!

It seems that this damned F-19 is a big source of inspiration for us : I changed mine into the Neuron UCAV you can see on this forum, and I know many members here also changed F-19s into something else...  a F-19 group build, we need a "change a F-19 model into something else" group build :) !!

It seems that you have dismantled a 1/72 Concorde... isn't the nose on the B-52 ?
:o

And the idea of grafting the AEW radar to a Mi-24   brilliant !!! Be sure no one thought about that before, exactly like the Lybian TSR-2!!!

As JHM say,
QuoteOnly problem is: now, I won't be able to sleep tonight.

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

I saw the lumpy-bumpy gray TSR.2 in the background of another project you posted last week and was intrigued.  Personally I think it would look great loaded to the gills with ALARMS.

As for the Richmond....I cant think of words to describe how cool that is!!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Well, lessee...

For the Klingon TSR.2EW, how about a little Bird of Prey RPV for Wild Weasel missions?  Barring that, how about a lot of HARM's and an MBB weapons pod?

Libyan TSR.2?  TV guided Martels and Magic II's.

Hind AEW?  If anything, self defense Sidewinders.  AEW wouldn't stray too far from the ship it came from, usually.  Maybe put a bunch of jammers on the wings?  ALQ-99's might look bizarre enough to work.  ALQ-131's and ALQ-199's definately.  I do like the look of the build, the camo works nice.

F-19 RN retro-80's JSF?  Leave the bomb bay closed, no external stores.  Looks good as is.

RAF EB-52?  Meteors (if you can find them), ALARMS, Storm Shadows, AGM-129's (if you can find them).

HMS Richmond?  Approximately what scale is she?  The cool thing about that forward/starboard view of her is that she looks a lot like an actual ship under construction.  That is one impressive ship!

That, apparently, is a 1:72 ship. Something I've always wondered about...

To consider it in context, I'm a student of Naval Architecture, and our department has a fairly large towing tank. That model ship is about the right size for carrying out towing tests in said towing tank...

Yer she is 1/72 scale. The hull is a dean marine type 22 which is 1/92 scale i found at a car boot sale for only £20 i belive is worth over £120 new, but i have addad over a foot to the rear hull to give the flight deck more room, as from experance after serving on hms cambeltown for 4 years back in the early 90 i know it was just to small to operate anything larger the a lynx, altough we did one land a raf chinook on the deck with a large engine part for the ship but the clearance was only about 2 meters
The nose of the eb52 is from the 1/72 concorde. No I am not mad. The doner kit was given to me in such a bad state there was no rescue. They tried to use evostick to put on the wings, but they had  moved around and were not in place. Also in places they had  melted the body after somebody tried to "weld" it togther.
:dum:
will put up more phots of the richmond if you want to see more, i have only been working on her for 10 years up to now but i need ideas wepons systems. the large box in the front of the bridge is for a vls system but which one?
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

The VLS should be for Sea Wolf, of course. Maybe add an 8-cell Mk 41 VLS for Tomahawk or ASROC.
For guns, use a 152 mm howitzer from a 1:72 armor kit?
Put some tubes for Exocet or Harpoon on as well.

(reads original post again). If it's for ground troops support, install an MLRS launcher.

Quotethe hull of the richmond is over seven foot long but it needs a gun system for troop support etc (by the wat its 1/72 scale a\nd the hind will be attached to the flight deck but i am also looking for ideas for a uav to launch also.
:o  :o  :o 7 feet!
This guy is really mad ... I like him.
Will die without understanding this world.

155mm turrets from a PzH2000 or AS90 would give you some useful NGS - I think a PzH2000 has already been trialed by the German Navy.

Why not put some AMRAAMs on the Hind, perhaps with an additional booster motor section to compensate for the 0 velocity launch?
