Backhistory:

Following joining NATO and the purchase of F-16C/D's, a dessision was made to completly upgrade the Polish Air Force to a full NATO responce force.
this paved the way to supplement the F-16's and an order was placed for 36 ex-US-navy F-23A/B's to replace the MIG-29's, and 2 Airbus A-321 tankers.

cant think of anything else for the back history yet.

The model:

its a 1/144 revell A-321, HDU's are made with spare 1/144 F-16 external tanks from a revell or academy kit and the dynamo propelors are from some spare parts i had left from 1/700 airfix falklands-fleet, the boom on the rear is made from a friveshaft from a 1/400 clemenceau carrier, with scratchbuild extention and boomrudders.

work is still in progress on this model, but its going to take a while to finish the color sheme, witch im planning to do the same as the polish MIG-29's.

Looking good so far.  I remember that A321 being a nice kit.

That's some really incredible work there Nils! I really like how you fabricated all those refueling bits and bobs. I'm sure I'm not the only one anxiously awaiting your next update on this one!

Nice looking plane! :D

One problem, though...

"new" polish markings (since early 90's) have white in a top left corner, and they should be on the tail and under the wings, only.
