Another alternativeis to choose a type:
Ki-61, Ki-43, Ki-84 etc

Then select appropriate decals via Hannants.
This'll give you some unit markings too.

Thanks guys I'm looking for more modern aircraft markings I was thinking of making a JASDF F-100 supersabre & F-14D or Tornado so i would need the appropriate JASDF lettering as well ;)

JASDF lettering?  Most JASDF types only carry the serial number, no "lettering" per se.  What exactly is it you're looking for?

WWII hinomarus (given you can find the right sizes) should work just fine.

Masking tape. Circle template. Pencil. X-Acto knife. Apply mask to model. Paint. Remove mask.

Voyla Hinomaru. ;)

Numbers are same-same as USAF types. Amarillo font.

Platz has done limited availability JASDF decals, check with Rainbow Ten.
Rainbow Ten

Otherwise look for the Hasegawa JASDF F-86, F-104J, F-4EJ, F-15J, T-4, F-1 or F-2 kits.

For example, the Hasegawa F-104J in 1/48th has markings for 10 JASDF aircraft and the 1/72 version has markings for 3 Canadian and 3 Japanese aircraft.

Cheers, Jon

Similar, but not exactly the same in every case.  :)

THANKS GUYS I mostly need the letters JASDF for the natural metal F-100 I am planning on marking it similarly to the F-86 in JASDF service with the large JASDF lettering beneath the cockpit

(They are faster and cheaper than Hannants -  and I live 200 miles from Hannants and 12000 miles from HLJ)

The Army Navy and Coast Guard use Kanji lettering on their aircraft; the ASDF doesn't. They have unit badges on the tail and a coding system very similar to the USAF.

One other possibility for the meatball ... some of the British decal sheets print the red center circle separately on their roundel ... that's how I sourced some for a couple projects.  Better quality and thinner than some of the Hasegawa decals.

Mr P. Wulff,
I've got some JASDF markings in 1/144 scale but do not have the lettering you need. PM me your address and I will mail them out.
