M-4 Sherman Tank Model Sci-Fi/Fantasy Bash

All,
You may have seen some of the 2006 Challenge that Starship Modeler had last year for Wonderfest.  It was to take a Bf-109 and kitbash, modify it into a sci-fi/fantasy vehicle.  This was mainly to impress the JMN's out there.

Well, the 2007 Challenge is up and it is around the Sherman Tank.

Yep! And Ollie just happened to send me a Sherman Firefly for Secret Santa. Woohoo! Already got an idea, just have to dig up another Sherman...

I got a 1/72 Sherman for Christmas  I think I might give it a go this year, I found out about last years contest a little too late.

Although it is outside the Sci-Fi requirements of that group build, I've always wanted to take a Sherman Turret, remove the gun, paint it up like a Hamburger bun complete with Sesame Seeds, make a putty burger etc. and have it a "Super Size Sherman" sitting in a McDonald's  paper container.   The wheels could be pickles, right?  

The T-55 turret is a little better but a 'Super Size T-55 with Sprite to go" just doesn't quite fit the bill as well...........
