I'd love to add this to my collection of Swedish subjects but it's not cheap so I would first like to know if anyone *here* has bought and/or built this kit (I'll go check build reviews at other sites but I'd be most interested in a fellow Whiffer's opinion first).

I don't own one (yet), but everything I've heard about it has been quite good.  I wouldn't be afraid to buy one at all.

I'm considering buying one or two.  One would probably be turned into a swing wing naval variant.

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

It's certainly going to be good if it's from Neomega.

Gordon Upton's the UK distributer....that's his address.
I doubt whether Si at the shop has one.

Woah!    Not seen that myself, thanks for sharing Baz!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wow.. a retro antique first generation ALQ-119 ECM pod still in use in 2038! :)

Weren't those retrofitted to receive GPS and email updates for the pilot sometime in 2022? Or am I thinking of the EMP hardened MP3 players that all European aircraft started to sport using surplus jammer pods to...well...jam to? :P

NO,no,no...you've got it all wrong I'm afraid. It was found that MP3 players interfered with some of the systems and such, so in thier infinate wisdom, the powers that be used these pods as combined CD player/stacker sysem. It was found that you could load about 50- 60 CD's depending o the type of pod use. Thesepods wereput to good use in 2037 when an allied strike force had to fly from Southern Norway to pummel a certain cafe in Morocco. They still had a good number of tracks left when the bombing started. So one could say that they really rocked the casbah!!!!!

Not to mention the rather 1970-ish APU in the background, eh?   ^_^

Seen the new Battlestar Gallactica?  Anti-gravity, faster-than-light space travel, robot slaves rising against their masters & they're still using Hummers!  Oh, yeah, & they're half way across the universe from us!
